Settings for logging outgoing emails

   Logging

Level

this sets how detailed you wish the logging for this module to be

Example interface:

Options:Off, Critical, General, Verbose, Full, Debug

Default:Verbose

Types

this sets which types of messages you wish to be logged

Example interface:

Default:Error+Warning+Message+Service+Config+Licence

Max file size

this sets the maximum size to which the log file for this module will be allowed to grow, in kbytes

Example interface:

Range1 - 32000 kbytes/file

Default:1024 kbytes/file

Files to retain

this sets the number of archived log files you wish the module to maintain

Example interface:

Range1 - 32 files

Default:3 files

Flush after

this sets at what size the log file will be flushed to disk, in kbytes. If trouble-shooting set this to 0, set it higher for maximum performance

Example interface:

Range1 - 64 kbytes

Default:2 kbytes

Flush after

this sets when the log file will be flushed to disk, in seconds. If trouble-shooting set this to 0, set it higher for maximum performance

Example interface:

Range1 - 600 seconds

Default:15 seconds

   Log File

Log

This shows the tail (the last few lines) of the SMTP Relay log file. You can use the drop down number selector to select how many of the last lines to view. If you wish to see the entire file, it is recommended that you use a text editor on the log file in the server itself, you will find the log files within the ./logs/ directory under the directory into which you installed the application

The SMTP protocol transactions will be logged to the file logs/SMTPOut.log
